Aerospace Aftermarkets: AIRCONTACT'18
Maintenance, repair, retrofitting
These topics aren’t just important in our main business segment, automotive – they are also becoming increasingly significant in aerospace. The Styrian mobility cluster AC Styria dedicated this year’s AIRCONTACT’18 to precisely this topic. Starting with a visit to an Austrian airline hangar at the Graz Airport and subsequent networking dinner, the event was rounded off the next day with an industry convention. The final podium discussion with renowned companies such as FACC, F/LIST, or Rolls-Royce gave exciting insight into the future. Here, too, one thing was clear: the aerospace aftermarket is an area that will continue to grow over the next 15 to 20 years and whose significance will be increasingly greater
What does AUTFORCE have to do with that?
We presented ourselves as an exhibitor for the very first time this year together with our affiliate company, AUTFORCE Vision Systems GmbH, and the company ATEQ, a well-respected company that has been our partner in the field of manufacturing of measuring devices for seal inspection and flow measurements for many years now. This enabled us to present our fully automatic inspection systems, the AUTFORCE Cubes, to an enthralled clientele. By pairing it with our AUTFACTORY control system, we can achieve a fully automatic, seamless inspection of various production components with traceability for batch sizes as small as one. A factor that is indispensable in this sector. Since we have only recently entered the field of aerospace, this event turned out to be an important guide for us and we are already looking forward to AIRCONTACT'19.
